These works included masonry repairs, roof and defective flashing and drainage repairs, remediation of internal water damage and reinstatement of original internal wall finishes and trim.
Public access to the cottage museum is regularly facilitated by the Portland Historical Society, and the works have provided appropriate protection to the historical collection housed within, and increased access by the public.
