Introduction
This page will help you fill out a Permit Application or a Permit Exemption Application.
Select which form you are wanting to submit from the options below;
1. Go to the Apply for Permit page. 2. Click on the Apply for a Permit button. This opens up the Permit Application Location page in a separate tab. | |
3. Enter in the address or VHR place in the Search for Address/VHR Place field and select the correct property from the drop down listing. | |
4. If the property is on the heritage register, details will appear below the Property details section located below the map. If there is no VHR then you will not be able to proceed with the application. 5. Click Select Property if the correct property details are shown. | |
6. Click Start application. You will now be taken to the Permit Application Form. | |
7. Select Yes or No to the pre-application discussion. If you have been given a P-Number you can enter it into the required field. | |
8. Enter the Primary Contact and Applicant details. 9. Enter the Owner(s) details. 10. Enter the Owners corporation manager details (If applicable) 11. Click Next | |
12. Fill out the details on the Proposed works page. 13. Click Next. | |
14. Fill out the fields on the Cultural heritage management plan page. 15. Click Next 16. The amount to be paid will be displayed on screen. Select the relevant Fee Payable option. Note: If you choose Fee Exemption or Fee Waiver you will need to provide additional information. 17. Click Next | |
18. Make the payment via one of the payment methods listed. 19. Once payment via Bpay or Australia Post is made, select payment method used and enter the receipt details. 20. Click Next. | |
21. Upload all the supporting documentation. 22. Click Next | |
23. The Review & Submit page is where you will review all the data you have entered and have the opportunity to amend any errors. 24. If you need to amend any information click Edit next to each section you wish to amend. 25. Read through the Declaration and once satisfied, check both boxes. 26. Click Submit Application. | |
27. Your application has now been submitted. You will be given a receipt number on screen and you will receive an email confirming your permit application form lodgement. |

3. Enter in the address or VHR place in the Search for Address/VHR Place field and select the correct property from the drop down. | |
4. If the property is on the heritage register, the details will appear in the Property details section below the map. If there is no VHR then you will not be able to proceed with the application. | |
6. Click Start application. You will now be taken to the Permit Exemption Application Form. | |
7. Select Yes or No to the pre-application discussion. If you have been given a P-Number, enter it into the field. | |

If you need to amend any information click Edit located to the right of each relevant section. 18. Read through the Declarations section and check both boxes once satisfied. 19. 20. Your application has now been submitted. You will receive a receipt number and a confirmation email. |
