New resources from the Heritage Council of Victoria
In late May, the Heritage Council of Victoria released a range of new resources designed to increase public knowledge and appreciation for heritage.
The Heritage Information Pack is aimed at building a greater understanding of why heritage is important, how it's protected, and the role that we all play in its preservation for current and future generations.
The resources are a treasure-trove of practical knowledge. Focussed around four key themes, the information is conveyed in a simple and engaging fashion:
- What is heritage?
- The heritage protection system
- Why do we protect heritage?
- What is your role in heritage protection?
Each theme consists of a downloadable poster and factsheet, while a handy explainer animation video is available via YouTube to view and share.
Heritage Victoria encourages anyone with an interest in the preservation of our State's heritage to view and share the resources.
